The Vitos are a 4-piece events band based in Edinburgh, Scotland. With many years of professional performance and each having a degree in music, they have developed an extensive repertoire of various styles, including an all round ‘party band’ sound, jazzy blues lounge music, an R&B funk set and a stripped back acoustic set.The band consists of Becca (Vocals, piano, acoustic guitar), Laurence (guitar, vocals), Duncan (bass, cello, backing vocals) and Fraser (Drums, piano). In various formats, the musicians have been playing together for over six years. With a solid rhythm section, very accomplished guitar work and a diverse and soulful vocal sound, the Vitos go from strength to strength.Becca and Laurence have their own original music careers, and Duncan and Fraser are freelance session musicians and producers. Between the four, they have performed at venues such as the Picturehouse Edinburgh, o2 ABC2 Glasgow, Fountain studios London (Britain’s got talent 2015) and Wembley arena (X Factor 2015). As independent session players they have also worked with acts such as Rod Stewart, Rizzle Kicks and Louisa Johnson, upcoming artists and some of the top session musicians in London (Scott Mckeon, Niles Brahm). They frequent Scotland’s top 5star resorts such as Gleneagles and Turnberry playing in their various formats.Having toured in Nigeria, Ghana and all over the UK with other top events bands such as Callanish, the band are no stranger to travel and adapting to new surroundings. A flexible yet efficient group, they are passionate about music and making people want to dance.
