Here we are Neven Petrova singer and Alexander Kumanov guitar. Already ten years working together as a duo and as leaders of various jazz ensembles. Our music is stylish and diverse. The interpretations are signed by the duet’s emotions although we are tangible influenced by the style of the most famous jazz duets from the time of Ella Fitzgerald & Joe Pass and Tuck & Patti. Our repertoire is rich and broad genre spectrum: Jazz standards from all eras of its development - Dixieland, Jazz Standards – Great American song book, Ballads, Contemporary authors in the late twentieth century and early twenty-first century, Brazilian bossa nova pieces, songs in Spanish, Italian and French and Contemporary Acoustic versions of pop and rock songs. As professional musicians we can easily join and do music with other colleagues in bigger formation. Also we have a huge experience in performing with backing tracks showing a variety of music stiles. But “Jazz” is our passion and preference. The exciting, grabbing voice of Neven creates stylistic diversity and distinctiveness of interpretations while Alexander`s guitar performances are extraordinary heights as artistry and instrumental presence. Their performances not only give a unique exquisite nature of the place where they perform, but when needed, the atmosphere of intimate and exciting mini concert. Every night spent in a place where they play has the execution time of pleasure and enjoyment of acoustic jazz.
